Autumn Leaves

Hey!

Last Monday I was back to school, which is okay, but I don´t got as much spare time anymore. Therefore, my blogging is a bit reduced at the moment, but I have some cool posts that I am working on so stay tuned!

In Norway the leaves on the trees are already starting to become red, and yellow. The sun has more or less flew away, and the wind is super cold. Personally I like the autumn, but I cringe when I think about what comes after this beautiful season. Winter.

Here are some pictures to honor the autumn.

Top 10 Islands to Visit

Hey!

I thought it would be cool to make a category on my blog that is named “Bucketlist”. I first planned on doing a post about it, but then I quickly found out that there are so many different things that I want to do, and places I want to see that it would be better to split it up into different posts.

In this post, as the title says, here are my top 10 islands I want to visit!

The Galapagos Islands:

Since I was a kid I´ve completely fallen in love with this place. It looks so beautiful, and tropic. There is also a bunch of rare animals living at Galapagos, and well, I love animals so it seems like the perfect place for me.

Hawaii:

Well, to be honest it just looks amazing here, and there is no better place to learn how to surf. There is also an abandoned hiking track here that I want to visit, it is called “the stairways to heaven”. Many people says that it´s very dangerous, and thats also the reason why it is forbidden to hike there. But it looks amazing, and I know that some day, I will be walking those steps.

Bora Bora:

This is a small island located in the South Pacific, northwest of Tahiti. It has these sand islets around, and a turquoise lagoon with coral reefs surrounding it. Therefore, it is a super place for scuba-diving. This is also kind of a luxury place, so I have to save some money to go here, but I will someday!

Bali:

Oh my god, Bali. Known for its tropical forests that is located on volcanic mountains, the super pretty beaches, and of course, coral reefs. There are also many different temples etc. there which would be so cool to see.

Tenerife:

You have probably heard the song, Tenerife sea by Ed Sheeran. Well, I had actually never heard about Tenerife, but I had to check it out after listening to this song. I liked the place right away, and it quickly took a place on my list.

Santorini:

This is a greek island, and a thing I want to do is go island jumping in Greece because my parents did when they were younger, and they don´t regret it. But, Santorini is an Island that stands out because I was here when I was younger, and I have this special love for this place, so I would love to get back there soon after all these years.

Borneo:

This island is located in Asia, and has the most amazing rainforest, as well as beaches. Like Galapagos there are many wild animals there like leopards.

Vancouver Island:

From tropic islands, to a bit colder climate. This island is located in Canada, and is a popular destination for biking, hiking and camping. The wilderness there is fantastic I´ve heard, and I love to hike so this is absolutely a place for that.

Sardinia:

Back at it again with the tropical islands… This island has amazing beaches, actually a coastline on 2.000 km. But it is also a nice place to go hiking because of its landscape with mountain like areas, could not be more perfect!

The Maldives:

Wow. This place got the wow-factor. And I want to go there before it is to late (sadly), because of the climate changes it could be under water some day. Just imagine living in a bungalow here!!

So, that was my top ten islands! There are many more, and maybe there will be a part 2 of this, haha. None of the pictures displayed in this post are mine, I simply found them on Google, just so you know.

GREEN IN OSLO

My city, Oslo.

I took a walk here the other day, which I love, because it is a really small city, so you can almost walk wherever you want. There are so many things to see in Oslo, like, there are all these different people, restaurants, rivers, parks, and even the ocean. The city is devided in very unlike parts; there is one place where all the hipsters live, and goes for shopping because of the amazing shops you can find there (like vintage shops!). A bit further east there are many foreign people living, and there is a good quantity of small vegetable boutiques there, and many different clothing shops which have clothes from other cultures.

If you go down to the docks by the ocean, there is really high-end with expensive restaurants, but also many food trucks which is super cool. And the docks there are super fancy, and so beautiful. I would recommend to take an ice cream here from one of the food trucks, and enjoy it while watching the ocean, but keep an eye on the seagulls, because they are known of being crazy! (they once stole my ice cream).

Oslo can also offer a huge amount of different architecture, if you are interested in that. To be honest, there is a lot to see in Oslo of course that I have not mentioned here, but that is because I have written about the things that I appreciate about my city, and notices as I walk around.

Anyways, here are some pictures I took while roaming around in the city I love!

The Mountains

Okay, so me and some friends of mine rented a cottage in a valley surrounded by all these majestic mountains, and we quickly decided to climb one of them. So, we went a little of track, and hiked a mountain that there was no marked route on. Very exciting, but also a bit scary when you are afraid of heights.

Anyways, here are some of the photos I took, it looked even more beautiful in real life of course. I do not know the name on the mountain, but it is located in Norway, Hemsedal.

NATURE FEELS – TRIP AT RJUKAN

This weekend I took a trip to Rjukan (Ibiza I wish…) and it was so beautiful there! The weather was superb, and the surroundings were absolutely breathtaking. I have tons of images from this place, but I have chosen a few of them which is from when we took a cableway up to the mountains (I know lazy, right?).

If any of you are in the Rjukan area I highly recommend this cableway trip, there are also a lot of bicycle trails up there which is really popular. There is also a really good restaurant there where you have view over the whole ally, and the mountains. Super lovely! There is also a bungee jump nearby which I am planning on doing next time.

WINTER WONDERLAND

The best (and the worst) thing about Norway is our winters which contains a lot of snow, and really cold days. Even though it´s cold there is no excuse for staying inside, I know i did not. I enjoy the warm weather better than the cold winter months, but there is something about the winter beauty.

Here are some photographs that illustrates this beauty, what do you think? Do you live in a country with cold winters?
